Mt Hood National Forest Salmon Tent for kids

Salmon Stories Served Up Daily

Mt. Hood National Forest Service gives you a chance to get swallowed up by a fish tale! Kids (ages 3 - 12), don colorful costumes and enter into a large salmon where they are entertained by the much loved storyteller Anne-Lousie Sterry. Sterry tells about the magnificent journey that salmon travel and discusses with children ways they can individually help improve the environment. Children leave this 20 minute event excited about ways they can help salmon and improve water quality in their local watersheds.
