The Green Children
It’s not everyday that you find two twenty year-old “children” committed to ending world hunger and providing education and healthcare for all. But The Green Children are far from ordinary. Milla Sunde and Marlow Bevan (The Green Children) are a Los Angeles based Euro-duo melding music and philanthropy into making a difference for the less fortunate of the world.
Using their musical talents as a platform for change, the Green Children have partnered with Nobel Peace Prize recipient Professor Muhammad Yunus to establish The Green Children Foundation in 2006. Together, the non-profit organization raised over $500,000 towards microcredit, education, healthcare and the first Grameen Green Children Eye Hospital in rural Bangladesh. Quite impressive feats for two twenty-something musician/philanthropists!
